Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Viite application and related services at viite.ai (the "Service"), operated by Viite ("Viite", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2. The Service

The Service lets you connect third-party accounts (including your Google Account) so that content you authorize — such as selected emails, calendar events, and files — can be ingested, organized, and acted upon within your workspace. Features are provided on an opt-in basis and only operate on the data and scopes you explicitly authorize.

3. Your Google data

When you connect your Google Account, you grant the Service permission to access the specific data described in our Privacy Policy, solely to provide the features you enable. Our handling of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You may revoke this access at any time from the Service's settings or from your Google Account permissions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• access or attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law; or
• use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data and third-party content), is owned by Viite and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain all rights to your own data.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party services such as Google. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Viite's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
