Business Studio vs Notion

A workspace you shape yourself, versus a back-office that arrives already shaped.

Notion gives you pages, databases and an AI that writes inside them. Business Studio gives Claude a board where deals, customers, invoices and posts are card types rather than templates you build. Both connect to Claude — what differs is what Claude finds on the other side.

Side by side

Notion Business Studio
Where the AI sits Notion AI works inside your pages — writing, summarising and answering from content you already wrote. Claude drives the workspace from your chat through the MCP connector: it creates cards, drafts posts, and publishes them when you move a card to reviewed.
What you build first Your own schema. A CRM, a client tracker or an invoice log is a database you design and then maintain. Tasks, deals, customers, invoices, posts and tickets are card types on one board from the first minute.
Money No invoicing. You record amounts in a database and bill from another tool. Issue invoices in your own name, paid into your own Stripe account. We are not the merchant of record and never hold the money.
Publishing Publish a page to the web. Social posts and email campaigns live elsewhere. Draft a post on the board and publish it to X, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Pages or Facebook Pages — through Viite’s shared accounts today, not accounts you connect yourself.
Setup Hours of building your own system, or a template you inherit and then adapt forever. One OAuth connection, about two minutes.

Where Notion is stronger

Nearly everywhere maturity counts: a far better document editor, years of polish, an enormous template and integration ecosystem, and a community that has already solved whatever you are about to build. If your work is mostly writing and knowledge, Notion is the better home for it — and you do not have to choose. Notion is one of the accounts you can connect to Business Studio yourself.

Which one fits

Choose Notion if

your team lives in documents, you want to design your own structure, and you already have somewhere to invoice from.

Choose Business Studio if

you want the business side — deals, customers, invoices, publishing — to exist without building it, and you want Claude to operate it.

What we don't do yet

You can't connect your own X, LinkedIn or Facebook accounts yet

Publishing to X, LinkedIn and Facebook Pages currently goes through Viite's shared accounts, not accounts you connect yourself. Self-serve connections today: YouTube, Gmail, Notion and Stripe.

Claude is not autonomous here

It does what the six tools do — create, read, update, draft, attach, list. It does not run your business by itself, and publishing always waits for an explicit approval.

We are small

A younger product with fewer integrations than Notion or Zapier. The trade is a back-office Claude can actually operate.

Questions

Can I use Notion and Business Studio together?
Yes. Notion is one of the accounts you can connect yourself today, alongside YouTube, Gmail and Stripe. Notes can stay in Notion while the board carries the business side.
Do I have to migrate my Notion data?
No. Nothing here assumes you left Notion, and there is no import to finish before the board is useful.
Is Business Studio free?
There is a permanent free plan for one user. The current figures live on the pricing page, which is generated from the live catalog rather than typed by hand.

Give Claude somewhere to put things

Create your workspace, add the connector in Claude.ai, and the next thing Claude drafts will still be there tomorrow.
